Some cashiers (whether Cheers or elsewhere) are reluctant to void scanned sales because of additional paperworks at settlement after their shifts. Whatever, if you change your mind at the point of sale, you can always refuse to pay. Even NETS or credit card transactions can be reverted at the point of sale. It'll cause the cashier additional paperworks but that's part of their jobs. Any cashier that claims scanned sales can't be revert is a liar and should be subject to displinary or even legal action.
