M1's terms and conditions already said they are not liable for your losses due to outtages. All telco have similar T&Cs. Tough luck.

the same incident happens to starhub few years back when i was in singapore ..i call them up and ask for compensate ..in the end , they just wave off a month subscription fee ...at least better then nothing ..

Be smart have 2 telephone line from different operator.
One sign up line and another prepaid plan just as backup.
