Just watched an episode of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen nightmares.
This week featured a nice husband-and-wife-owned restaurant called Cafe 36 in Ohio. Their executive chef was Ah Neh named Pinto Das. Found some old data on him:
Right from the start Gordon Ramsey identifies the problem of Cafe 36. He found that all the food serve has been frozen. Some even pre-cooked, cut and then frozen before thawed out for reheating.
Gordon chucked a fit at the Executive Chef. In typical Ah Neh tradition, the chef tried to smoke his way out.
LOL! Well credit to the Ah Neh, "Fresh Frozen" is now an entry in Urban Dictionary.com.
When observing the kitchen operations, Ramsey spots asparagus are featured on the seasonal menu..... Only problem was asparagus was out of season and very expensive!
Ramsey then re-designs the restaurant menu not once, but twice, to ease the serving time delay. But ah neh exec chef clearly could not manage the line because his "fresh frozen" cooking method was gone. The sous chef and servers were all too fed up with the arrogant exec chef.
A infuriated Ramsey fucked the old restaurant owners for being blind to their exec chef's incompetencies.
After filming, ah neh was sacked immediately.
Some time later, Cafe 36 also closed down. That is what you get for trusting arrogant and incompetent people to run your back room.
