ah beng mobile phone shops like Jover Chew's put malware into phones?

do u think it is possible for ah bengs to install malware into the phones they are selling? Usually, people will not suspect a newly-bought phone to contain spyware and hence may let their guard down.

Will some crooked retailers then install spyware into their goods?
