this is really the part I can't wrap my head around. How can they charge more money than a real specialist? I simply can't see it. Skin treatment $5000 or something like that? People have to be insane to pay lots of money for this.

I'm afraid I don't know too much detail about TCM myself. Especially herb names!
But I do know that healthcare plans overseas do include it... Singapore actually is behind on TCM acceptance as a certified body compared to some Western countries.
