SINGAPORE - The Government is moving to encourage more permanent residents in the country to take up citizenship. And in some cases, their PR status "will not be renewed" should they decline to swap for the red passport, said Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong yesterday.
PR already done so much damage to our HDB prices..even their status revoke..they can happily go back to their shit ..:oIo:
The damaged had been done for so many years....a past colleague of mine, a Malaysian PR worked here for 30 years, some years back before the 'plugged' they retrenchment benefits quantum, took a golden handshake by accepting a retrenchement; translated his windfall into RM, which converts to a million. He have a home in Johor , a home in SINgapore, sold everything plus CPF retired back to Malaysia & gave up his PR.
Of course one could say that he had contributed to SINgapore over the decades, compared to a local SINgapore male, who have to serve National Service & Reservist, this Malaysian PR has the best of both worlds...and could truly say have a SWISS STANDARD OF LIVING..
Looking at the $9,000 announced plus the meagre $100 extra for every 'gift' given.....we have been farked fo more than 4 decades...
SINgaporeans deserve what they get....:p
