Read the large no. of Forum letters expressing such 'regret'. One example is shown below. Those who expect the FAP and its lackeys to change for the better after this GE will be disappointed!

On reflection, he wonders if he was fair

I WONDER if I have been fair-minded and level-headed in putting all the societal ills and woes of today conveniently and squarely on the Government.
After all, the Government has guided the nation safely through the first part of a tumultuous journey fraught with minefields and undercurrents.
In a span of less than 50 years, the nation has morphed from a Third World economy to today's Singapore. The transformation, by any standard, has been remarkable, if not scintillating.
That being the case, government policies - purportedly, the source of vexation and woes for many - could not have been all that invidious and untenable.
Sure, the Government needs to quickly and assiduously tweak and update certain policies to better reflect the ever-changing expectations and demands of the populace. This will benefit the people materially and emotionally, resulting in better rapport and communication between the nation's stakeholders.
On the other hand, despite all the aforesaid, I do not know if I have allowed myself to be seduced by campaign slogans as old as the hills.
Aw Yook Fah

You did the right thing by voting opposition.

The ones who should feel guilty are the ones who chicken out at the last minute.

Here's a reminder why you, as well as 40 p/c of S'porean voters cast their votes for the alternative parties.

Remember why they paid themselves so highly? Because that level of pay does not allow failures to be viewed lightly
When CEOs are paid handsomely they must justify that pay...same principle
What results they had, it seems people dun agree

THEREFORE, only you in smart category? These folks in HG, Aljunied in not smart category?
