Demolish Oxley Road when I die! - dying LKY told Shit Times

They will preserve it and make it like the Sentosa Wax Museum. As part of primary school syllabus, schools will conduct excursions bringing buses of kids to visit the early home of Singapore's founding father. The traffic will get so bad that Oxley area property price will suffer.

There is always the chicken and egg question of which comes first? Amenities or residence. Not to worry though. Who would have thought a little township like Bukit Indah can accomodate Giant, Tesco and Jusco. All 3 happened within a space of 2 years! It started with Jusco daring to take the...

Its those 4 in one type clusters i believe. Clusters are quite a good alternative to a real semi-D in that they have corner land, but priced quite a lot cheaper. Nusa Duta is another place building a lot of clusters. About 500k onwards but probably smaller than Adda Heights.

Looks quite reasonably priced compared to the escalating prices in Nusajaya. I supposed its all about location at the end of the day, if you like the location why not.

Wuqi mentioned about this condo in an earlier post. That road from Bukit Indah to Nusa Idaman (Jalan Ceria) is not dark and eerie at all, but with the exit opened for direct access to JB-PG highway, the traffic is a bit too high for that little road.

Not yet. Their speed of construction is quite fast, but they seem to be "building to target" ==> units purchased earlier are built first due to the 24 mth rule.

Dint know East Malaysia is experiencing a boom? Yes, imagine if your property price steadily appreciates 10% a year (which is possible if the township is in growth phase), in 10 years the price is doubled. Those guys who bought bungalow plots from Ledang Heights and Leisure Farm few years...

HDB flat has much better investment return compared to condos, provided you can get approval to rent them out. A S$500k 4-rm HDB flat probably fetches S$2.5k a month? That's 6% returns. Does resale flat have any income ceiling requirement? If you purchase an MYR500k terrace, i think you...

Why not? There are people who prefers to rent unfurnished. It is worse if you already have the furnishing, and your tenant wants to rent unfurnished. I suspect partially furnished would be most popular, ie furnishing the very basic. But yes you are right, i cannot move the MYR3k i incurred on...

I have been trying to understand why developers opt for open concept in high end properties in KL, and here. I suppose it is for aesthetic purposes. Try visualizing... how would the whole place look with those concrete fencing? In fact even the thin metal fencing does spoil the looks in some...

I guess the most common pool will be Malaysians SPR working in SG. Most would still want a retirement home in MY for fear of costs in SG escalating beyond affordable living at old age. These group of buyers want some standards comparable to SG hence chose EL or HH. They are also more acceptable...

Like Summit Condo along Upper East Coast road. So what? He's still dead and can't bring the billions with him. If he had been more honest and don't give people inferior quality products, he would have been remembered as a decent guy. But he will also be remembered as a blood sucker. Haha why am...

The loan agreement normally has a clause stating in such event, the bank can extend its arm into his other assets - it is stated on the UOB loan i used to hold. You might miss out this clause if you don't read the whole loan agreement. Of course if he is penniless the bank will have to auction...

Its true unfurnished is a lot cheaper, that's why i chose one to rent. How unfurnish? No aircon, no water heater, no GRASS, no fridge, no washer, no oven, no bed, no dining set, no sofa ... these few things cost me about MYR 12k... amortised over 2 years now its about MYR500 per month ==> hence...
