If you look at Apple's Apple Store prices in this region, Spore has the highest prices :(

This may be why when you enter Spore there is a picture of an iPad in those banners of taxable items For tourists visiting Spore they can claim a gst refund, but for Sporeans you can't claim anything & it's cheaper to get Apple products elsewhere.
