hahaha...its japanese steamboat ..
I only familiar with common ramen and udon. Tempura and toriyaki also good. Very different from how others fry prawns and roast chicken. Very delicious. I saw in your pics, nabe and sukiyaki also look like steamboat.
I also shocked and choked when I see Chinese/Japanese for toriyaki is 鸟烧!Burn bird or burn cock?
thanks bro. Love jap food and this is very helpful since i do cook a bit.
I often had shabu-shabu in Bandung, Indonesia. It is a very healthy wonderful meal, excellent food.
bro...i never had shabu-shabu in indo ...but i dont think the taste is as good as real authentic japanese food ...even most japanese restaurants in singapore taste like ( althought its cheap ) shit
...
Most Singapore so-called Japanese restaurants are fakes. Besides in Japan itself, those in San Francisco Japantown and downtown are best. In Thailand, the Fuji franchise chain is the best available there. Anyway in Singapore, I always buy my favorite zaru soba (cold buckwheat noodle) and ingredients from Isetan and cook at home. Simple and delicious and authentically made in Japan, cooked in Singapore, if you know what to buy and how to cook. Grab a tetrapak of sake too. It goes along with zaru soba very well. Or if you don't take alcohol, standby green tea.
