MP pay is alright. MP has legislative job in Parliament and municipal job in Town Council. Huge resources and finances have to be spent to win and keep the seat. It's the ministerial pay getting out of control, about 10 times MP pay.

Why not? History must repeat itself. In 1959 when PAP came to power they cut the pay of civil servants to boost State coffers. A similar action could be taken now to test the loyalty of Ministers and citizens.

No need petition, just kick them out in the next election if they don't reduce their pay.
