Ridiculous as it may seem... it is actually a very viable option. Developers getting more aware of demand for nicer development in gated communities. There are the risky places, and there are the safe places. It is already quietly happening. Think about the 50% below median income population, sell their HDB flats and retire in a nice house with lots of space. There are clusters of mini-Singapore already forming in JB.
