Used to love their chicken wings due to its unique taste but it seem to have lost that taste and it is very ordinary now.
Anyone here share the same sentiment?

You order too much and eat too much. If you are very hungry and only order 2 pcs, you will think its very nice. :D

yes agreed to that, few pieces will do, for forgetting their meat balls.:)

2pcs $2.80
6pcs $7.50

That's why Singaporeans want value for money will order 6 when in fact they cannot stomach that much. When the chicken grease sets in, they start to have phobia finishing remaining food.

The most value for money should be their hotdog roll. $1 I think. $1 really can eat until full.

Sounds like you have not tasted their original wings back to the days when they have only one store at Alexandra Road.

Think the Swedish meatballs are more unique. I sometimes go to Ikea just to have them:)

You all should trys the chickens wing in Ice cold Beers .

Yes, the small bottle seriously chilled beer just before freezing point and the chicken wings to go along are good, but I haven't been there for years.

The Swedish meatballs are unique and tasty but I don't think it's any more healthier than burgers and fries since you're so much into healthy diet.

Don't know if they sell french fries at Ikea, but the potatoes they serve with the meat balls are steamed. You can also order steamed green beans.

As for the meatballs you can get them uncooked at the Ikea deli/supermarket. Don't think they are fried more like boiled or broiled. I normally avoid pork & usually eat fish but it get's boring eating only home cooked meals.

I thought of buying some to prepare at home as a DIY meal, but when I checked the ingredients of the sauce, there was alot of preservatives, additives in it:( So I bought the frozen Salmon instead.

My preferrence is to eat healthy but the cafeteria food at iKea is not as bad as fast food outlets: MacD, KFC, etc

Ikea Swedish meatballs and potatoes are good. My wife never missed packing some of them home whenever she went Ikea.

I've seen people buying 4+ packets of those meatballs.

The frozen salmon is also not bad.

The meatballs maybe made of 60% meat and 40% offal and fat.

Avoid at all costs.

I must know cos our cattle farm supplies meat to Ikea, MacDonalds and Hungry Jacks in Aust.
