Yes, this is the most frequent complaint. When I lived in Thailand, there was once I came back to Singapore for two weeks for a relative's funeral and grew two weeks worth of moustache. When I went back, my Thai GF was shocked, citing dirty, looking old and wouldn't allow me to kiss her until I shaved. Indian men keeping hair short, I can understand. They're usually curly and neater when short. If they keep it long, neat curly becomes messy frizzy. (Perhaps that's why Sikh men have to wrap it up in turbans.) Chinese men usually have long straight luscious hair, just like the women. It's neater and nicer to keep it long and tie it up than to trim it short and comb it. Ancient Chinese men had been doing that for thousands of years. The stupid Caucasians came and disrupt it all.
