read in newspaper about this today
who the f come out with this crap idea?
or is this another biz opportunity for some gahment-supported contractors to use the taxpayers' dollars?
when it pours, yes, it will prevent liat tower from flooding. but it is undeniable that the water level will still be high with such heavy downpour, so where does that volume of water flow to? perhaps lucky plaza, tangs, wisma on one side got effected this time while far east and tanglin shopping centre gets it on the other side? or again another new biz opportunity for gahment-supported contractors to built more barriers?
unless they tell me that by raising the barriers, the heavenly bodies above will stop the rain, then it's a different story.
if proper drainage is in place to ensure outflow of the waters, then why the need for this, this "thing"?
i'll bet the brainchild for this, this "thing" would says it's for double protection. i have one suggestion, wear a condom.
