ramseth got take blood cholestrol boh? like i said i dont think rice causes diabetes...if it does then china will be the research hub of the world for diabetes...but of course there are certain foods that ants do not touch...imho these foods do not have high enough level of sugar...ayway scared ramseth got fatty liver...

There're differences in fast foods too. Ground fatties and sausages are processed, frozen and fried. Fillets and fries are simply frozen and fried. The real industrial processed foods are those canned and packaged foods on supermarket shelves and freezers.

When I mention these stuffs, many immediately jumped to a horrified conclusion that I eat them three meals a day. That's certainly not the case; I eat them once or twice per week The foods are not the problem as long as eaten in moderation. Over-eating is the problem, and when people over-eat, they blame it on the foods.

Fast food chains take the quickest blames in societies like the US as they're conveniently located everywhere and people there eat them most. You look at the way Americans eat, they'd get over-weight, high blood pressure and high cholesterol whatever they eat.

braised sauce is a combination of salt, sesame oil, sugar and animal fats. Those sauces comprise from the fats that leak out from the skins and fats around meats. It's ok to eat meats but not the fats.

curry is worst. coconut milk combined with above.

Actually its ok to eat occasionally but judging from the common crowd eating chap chai perng 3 times a week, that would be x3.

Healthy eating can be found in hawker centre food, just that we chose to go for the unhealthy alternative.

Just want to correct a misconception. Indian curry typically do not use coconut milk. They use yoghurt instead. Only the Chinese and Malay curries uses heavy coconut milk, and yes, the chap chai png curry has tons of coconut milk.

thanks for the recommendation sounds really good btw you know of anything that boasts men's erection (other than viagra, cialis or horny goat weed) or can repair and stimulate nerves...

regarding high cholestrol, for those not in the know, if you ever have it and atr too lazy to make lifestyle changes, you will be put on anti-lipids such as statins, which is a drug for life...statins also make you feel lethargic...so much for the truth about government conspiring with pharmacological companies...

From my limited understanding on boosting erection, I understand that sometimes the cause could be less than optimum levels of testosterone. Testosterone levels can drop due to stress, diet, rest, etc...

I was taking this supplement ZMA consisting of Zinc, Magnisium and Vitamin B6 for recovery after workouts. Every morning I wake up confirm got morning wood :)

The Thais and Vietnamese swear by Red Bull whereas the Malays and Indonesians swear by Tongkat Ali. I don't drink these. Any difference?

Have not tried any of the 2 but I've read good things about Tongkat Ali. The Malaysian researches have been studying it.

Story on the benefits:

There is alot of tongkat ali products out there but beware some may only contain little of the real product.

The best source for tongkat ali is from Indonesia where its less polluted. It's expensive and sold at different concentration levels. You can visit the original supplier for more info:

You should be taking it everyday because in all likelihood you are consuming too much omega6(vegetable oils) and need the omega3 to keep a healthy ratio between the 2 oils.

Taking supplements is like buying insurance. You might not see any benefit but you never know the actual benefits until you are older AND healthy.

Ok

I'll try to take 1 every day. I currently take it once every 3 or 4 days. I take multivitamins everyday.
Is that good enough? What else should I consider as part of my supplement intake?

Depends on the lifestyle you lead, sex and age. Guys don't need iron supplementation, while females do. There supplements targetted at older age groups. There are also multi-vitamins composed of whole foods to improve absorption

Take a look at how Lou Ferrigno(the Hulk) now in his 50's has managed to stay healthy:

Depends on the lifestyle you lead, sex, age and of course how much $ you have. Guys don't need iron supplementation, while females do. There supplements targetted at older age groups. You have to decide how much effort & $ you are going to invest into your body.

Lou Ferrigno includes vitamin E as one of the essential vitamins he's taking daily.

Vitamin E consists of the tocopherol & tocotrienol complexes. If you want the most benefit from Vitamin E you must:

1. Take both the tocopherol & tocotrienal
2. Don't take them together. They have to be taken separately at least 6
hours apart or they will interfere with each other

If you want the best Vitamin E consider the products from A.C. Grace. Find out about their products here:

It's cheaper getting them from iHerb:

bro johnny just my 2 cents...the liver is a very important part of the body as it synthethizes and helps absorbs all the stuff we consume and produce red blood cells, so imho, such vitamins are in "concentrated" and "not natural" form, e.g. omega 3 from capsule vs consuming real salmon...base on concentration you may need to consume 4 or 5 salmon fillets just to get that one pill of concentration...breaking down natural vs concentrated stuff may actually be a taxing process for the liver...anyway if you are taking supplements regularly do go for regular blood tests...i work in the healthcare industry currently and honestly, most of the nurses, drs and pharmacies do not take vitamins in unnatural form for fear of liver damage...e.g. andrea d cruz and many other cases...

A bro forummer here mentioned that he never heard of vitamin overdose. Well, I've heard of it before. Indeed, all Chinese should have heard of it before, 虚不收补。Constitution too weakened to process the nutrition. This is the part that western medicine and TCM agree in principle but with different practice, i.e. the intravenous chemical drip or the slow herbal soup sip, to restore the constitution to a certain level before normal food intake and subsequent recovery to full physical fitness.

I think the best example is diabetes. Sugars and carbohydrates are essential nutrients, not toxicants. It's the failure of body functions to process them in amounts meant to be that caused the disease, not the substances themselves. Try abstain from carbohydrates and death cometh. It could happen with other nutrients and organ functions too.

I don't think the vitamin I am taking are toxic & taxing my liver, but something I didn't mention is that I do alot of detoxing. Some of the things I have used & currently still using are:

I'm waiting to receive my current order which includes a milk thistle & dandelion formula. This is a good formulation for liver health.

The really toxic substances are medications. So for those taking regular medication should look out for their liver & seriously looking at milk thistle supplements.

Doctor : I'll prescribe a course of pills for you. Take two pills three times a day after meals. You should be alright after one month.

Patient : That means if I take all 180 pills today, I'll be alright tomorrow?

Doctor :

I notice that many patients expect to get antibiotocs each time they visit the doctor for flu.

I'd go to the doctor to get an MC because that's the rules in Spore.

The best is way to prevent common ailments like the flu is to take garlic & vitamin C to increase your resistance. Since I started taking garlic 3 years ago, I've only caught the flu once & I recovered within 2 to 3 days.
