Indian foreign worker snatched my bank card and looked at the security code

General

Hey guys, I’m a Singaporean. Yesterday night when I was buying something at a local Indian convenience store, the Indian foreign worker at the cashier took my bank card from my hand.

I was very shocked because he caught me off guard and initially I thought he wanted to ask a question about the card. He turned towards the back of the card and I immediately snatched it back after even realising what happened.

He then told me he just wanted to ask me how to enter the security code in google wallet on his android phone. He tried to laugh it off. (Edit: he was asking how to enter his code into his own phone)

Of course I immediately disabled my card on my app.

I’m not sure if he actually flipped my card out of curiosity and if he genuinely just wanted to make a conversation. I read that some foreign workers can be more expressive.

But I want to know what you guys think of the situation, and if any of you guys experienced something like that before. Thanks.
