I need advice on taking a loan

Hi, I’m 24F and I am living with my grandma in a rental flat. I work full time to be able to afford her medical bills, therapy and medication. I’ve also taken up a part time job when we were short on money since I’ve lost my savings to a scam my grandma fell to previously a few months ago.

I’ve been caring for my grandma on my own for years ever since both of my parents went into prison. Recently my dad was released and because he needed a place to stay, we were contacted by the prison to ask about his living arrangements. Grandma was unfortunately the one who answered the call and she couldn’t bear to have her son be homeless or live elsewhere, so she took him in.

My dad lived with us for 3 weeks and showed signs of repentance. It was my fault for letting my guard down and believing grandma when she said my dad has finally changed for the better. 3 nights ago my dad took off with my debit card that contained my salary and the little savings I have from working two jobs to afford grandma’s medical bills, therapy and medication.

I had told grandma that I would be making a police report about this but she begged me not to saying that he just got out. I have called the bank to report that I have lost my card and they have cancelled it. But because my dad took my card in the middle of the night and I had not realised it till morning, he has spent over $2k that has been charged on my card. I’m on a fence on what to do cause we have now lost $2.5k and I am back to square one after working 2 jobs tirelessly the past few months to have a little bit of savings again.

I have tried to take a bank loan under credit and cash line but my applications kept on getting rejected. I was told that my salary does not meet the minimum requirement of the annual income.

I have asked a few legal money lenders but their interests seem to be high and I would have to end up paying back more in total.

Is there any other outlets or places I can apply a loan for with low to none interest fees with my low salary?

My grandma’s therapy is tomorrow and I am not sure what to do.

Here’s some ‘advice’: why burden yourself with a loan you’ll have to repay with interest? Take a different route—claim a divine calling, become a pastor, and watch as people hand over 10% of their income. No repayments required.
