Dim Sum Haus simply could not compete with Swee Choon which is cheaper and better.

My family only eats at such Chinese restaurants during birthdays, CNY or some other special occasion. The food is too rich and expensive for regular dining. Such establishments need regular patrons to prosper. Rent will kill them off as well, since if it is almost 50% of their takings, which is commonly reported by many eateries, there is no way to survive.
