Because Singaporeans will vote PAP by default, unless WP fields exceptionally strong team + PAP has a strong negative personality in their team. Edwin Kong Hee Tong appears in every event in East Coast. He is omni present to give out certs and pocket money to kids who perform well in schools every year. If you live in the east you will literally see his face everywhere. WP east coast team is decent but it takes more than that to beat a PAP team.

Tampines GRC stands greater chance than East Coast GRC, so is Jalan Kayu SMC. Expect gerry-meandering in these two territories in the next GE. Any person who want greater chance into parliament should join WP and help them expand their team to contest all over Singapore (except the retarded West zones sinkies). The close fight result they gained in Tampines (a really huge town) is a phenomena. 2 more percentage point the entire WP in Tampines will go into parliament.. Lawrence Wong happy too soon. Let him serves his first term and watch closely.

1. Becos most people are voting for their own town shelter walkways and not for the cuntry.
Just look at gansiokbin you will know.

2. Becos many people want to associate themselves with winners.

If people are voting for the sake of the cuntry, it doesn't matter which candidate WP front in their ward. Just vote WP in.

Another point worth to note that is leelated to point 2.
Do not be surprise there are many gong cheebye of cheebyes that are losers in their whole life.
Lose in every aspect. Their appearance, their job and income, their relationships and finances etc everything lose.
The only thing they can win is in the ballot box. They will grab this opportunity to vote pap and win. Nabei cheebye.
I already know a handful of such person personally.

Just becos they dislike the oppie doesn't means they have to vote for pap.

The Elections Department is a branch under the Prime Minister's Office. The committee is responsible for the drawing of polling districts and polling sites with pinpoint precision before every election, without the need for Parliamentary approval. This set-up stinks of corruption.

Gerrymandering and ground sweetening, are PAP's repeating tactics. WP should not send their troops to grounds where PAP are well-prepared and expecting them. Edwin Tong has very high media exposure at least for one year before GE, it is crafted to bring up his image. On hindsight, WP should send a strong team to Pasir-Ris-Changi GRC, where PAP is not expecting them. Pasir-Ris Changi GRC, WP will fare better than Punggol GRC and maybe win. Punggol GRC is though ground, Sun Xueling has done very good ground work. They should strike where the enemy least expected them.


PAP laid ambush for Dr Chee in Bukit Gombak SMC with a strong lady opponent, he did not fall in the trap. He moved to a ground where PAP least anticipated him.


Jalan Kayu SMC, Ng Chee Meng did not do much ground work. So sad, WP failed to send a stronger candidate.
