Chitchat Ideal not to ferry workers on lorries but more regulation would hurt industry, livelihoods: Amy Khor

Every self respecting companies have a " heslth, safety, security, environment " policy they must adhere to. Every accident cost delay and financial losses. The idea is to minimise the impact by prevention.
A bus would be a better transport for workers than lorries. And shelter them from the weather.

Hiring bus is expensive. That will hurt the industry.

Are the company using ah neh with keling license to ferry his fellow workers?

You dunno? FT driving license typically can immediately convert to a Sinkie one after a theory test. At least that's what I remember how it was.

I know. Sit behind lorry flatbed is not dangerous as long drivers know they are doing. I regularly sit as a kid till adulthood. From there I graduated to sit on top of M113 as it thundered down the dirt road in area d.
the vehicle itself is not dangerous but the person driving it. Too many foreigners just easily convert license.
