nope. never tried open pilot. with open source software on conventional cars without the full array of sensors and cams, i'm not sure if it will work or provide the driver and car with precise, timely, and necessary info to make it work flawlessly. for example, many (conventional) cars don't have sensors and instant feedback for lane departure detection. virtual reality features based on software alone of lanes on the roadway from the mapping grid will not be precise and timely enough.
