tesla owner share his nightmare experience with obu installation ( with external power pack)
quoted
In less than a week of installation, I'm back to Indeco twice for OBU malfunction.
1st time external power pack EBD(battery pack) spoilt. 2nd time, OBU spoilt.
And now Aircon is not working.
Blower is working but flap doesn't open.
Car is now stucked with Indeco for CNY.
It seems that the EBD supplied by LTA is too sensitive to voltage fluctuations, and they might not have done proper testing before certifying it for Tesla.
EBD is like a power bank, certified power banks goes through stringent and rigorous testing to prevent overheating and explosions.
What kind of certification does the EBD supplied has?
If the EBD supplied is able to overload and spoil so easily, what kind of assurance do we have that it won't explode noroverheat in the long run?
Or else just give me back my trusty IU
