after all these years with experience with forex and shares trading, i conclude that trading for short term is a kind of scam. if you want to make money in short term trading, you have to be a cheat! the only ones who make money are long term investment just like property. and for retirement funds globally, the average return of 12% is normal, anything that promises you more like 20%++ is a form of ponzi scheme. on contrary, i actually think that cpf board is underpaying the contributors cos' they pay only 3.5% for ordinary and 5% for medisave and special account.

KNN all financial investments in the world is a scam KNN only 1 thing that is not and that is inheritance KNN

adding on, indulging in short term trading is a form of gambling. there is element of luck involved. if you really want make money out of trading, it has to be long term trade.

surely, i had seen pple winning trades for a year but kept quiet after the good year.

Can you share with us a list of retirement funds that have produced an average return of 12% or more in a stable currency over the long term? I seriously doubt a retirement fund returning 12% is "normal".

We are so dumb to believe the PAP that 3.5 percent return is justified because the fund is backed by the Government of SINKapore.
We can get returns of 8 percent by just investing the amount in SPY.

And the past shows us that each 10-year period of low returns has been followed by a 10-year period of excellent returns, ranging from 13% to 18%!

In 2019, mutual funds in seven broad categories have averaged a return of roughly 13%, more than double the average annual return over the past 15 years.

summing up, you won't find this piece of valuable information using google cos' this is what the sharks don't want you to know, that is short term financial trading is a scam.
