That the rich-poor gap is very real, never mind that phones costing with 4-figure price tags are selling well. And the queuing started at 4-30am for one or two outlets.
The angry scenes as seen on social media sites reflect a very, very frustrated population. Venting anger at the police and the inability of the police to be able to calm a bunch of pioneers and merdekans in the shopping centres do no augur well if there is a real problem.

There were pictures of rifle-armed policemen patrolling near the scramble. If they were there as part of an originally planned exercise, then it was unfortunate that they were not withdrawn. If they were there to intimidate calm the ageing pioneers and merdekans, then it was a very bad judgement. What do we use if these had been terrorists?

It was already reported that is the individual staff at the retail shops when they saw the very long queues in front of the shops when they came to work in the morning and hence it was the shops's individual staffs that decide to put out the ALL SOLD OUT sign before the shop open, and the purpose of putting out this ALL SOLD OUT sign is to deter people from continuing to queue and to prevent new people from joining the queue and for them to go home.

Also prior to Friday, it was already circulated in whatsapp and social media that each Huawei shop wil only have 20 to 30 sets max, hence those cheapskate sinkies that continue to queue after they saw already more than 30 people queuing in front of them, they already know they won't get any phone, hence they complain for what fuck?!

This whole issue is those sinkies queuing after queue number 30 and the sinkies PRC-haters online dogs are at fault.

Huawei did not point a gun to tell people to come queue after queue number 30. They already said is limited stocks while stocks last and every shop 20 to 30 sets max on Thursday in social media whatsapp.

And finally it is just a price difference of $94 only! Becos it was reported that Challenger is selling at $148 this same phone and Huawei promotion is $54, hence is only a very small $94 difference.
