Singapore's property won't burst. The policy are in place. Policy like cooling measure and election year is coming which is predicted to be at 2019 December.

I am waitying for the burst.
I am eyeing on some property at East Ledang.

EL properties are a bit old for some people who prefer the new properties at eco botanic and sunway iskandar. The problem is sunway properties are only leasehold for 129 years if I have remembered correctly.

Depends on the area. Most of the property in Tropicana (PJ in KL) is leasehold. Same goes for Medini in JB. Check out Avira Garden Terraces in Medini, very nice but it is leasehold. East Ledang is nice - clubhouse layout is crap - smoking area of restaurants is just beside the pool - idiot designer! Horizon Hills facing golf course nicer (:smile: Leisure Farm quite ulu. Eco Springs is superb, no clubhouse but just a short drive to Aeon Bandar Dato Onn, by far the best Aeon Mall in JB.

Hope the burst in property prices coincides with a burst in the value of the ringgit. Then I might go for a bungalow in Ledang Heights, though it will be tough to find one without a pool - I hate swimming!

Yes, most msian properties are freehold but I have been told that those in Medini (Sunway Iskandar is part of Medini) are different cos the properties are on international lots, i.e. not bumiputera lots, so only leasehold and the foreigners are not bound by the RM 1 million rule for the Msian properties in Medini.

The landed properties are selling from RM 600k onwards for 129 years' leases in Sunway Iskandar.

Ya, Aeon Bandar Dato Onn (ABDO) is new and nice. I like a Nonya restaurant there but I can't remember the name. I think there is a similar one at Tangs in Spore but the food there is not as good as the one at ABDO.

I heard that the semi-ds and the bungalows with swimming pools are selling for as low as RM 1.4 mil and RM 2 mil respectively.
