Too bad because tesla more or less transformed the consumers to buy battery powered cars.

They made electric cars a viable option but that doesn't guarantee commercial success.

Churning out mass produced cars of high quality takes many years to perfect. Tesla has great specs but execution has been poor and the consumer of today has very low tolerance for products that cause endless problems.
