Designed by the same designer who designed Audi A3. Nabeh, used his own template.
Good reason to get a Hyundai with the snob appeal of an Audi. The Koreans are more reliable.A3 is the worst Audi car that is currently sold in Singapore, lots of complaints

I have an A3 Sedan. 1.4 TFSI. Bought brand new from the Audi dealership in 2014 July. It has always been serviced by the agent and i do it regularly almost or near the prescribed mileage intervals.

Since i bought it I've had to:
This is not counting all the usual things u need changed like blown lightbulbs, brake pads, wipers etc. I had an accident 1 year ago and it was agent repaired. Accident was not major and engine not affected. Just body work to the front grill.
- Replace Gear Mechatron unit twice - once was free as it was during warranty period, and once 2 months ago at cost of about $4K plus (ouch!).
- Replace car battery 3 times - I'm now into the 4th battery. First battery died 9 months after i bought it. I have a small front facing garmin camera facing forward but agent tested and said it was not causing any electricity bleed/leak.
- Repair the engine mounting
- Repair the fuel flap lock as it stopped working all of a sudden
Car is less than 4 years and mileage less than 80K.
Anyone else with A3 Sedan have such regular breakdowns and need for repairs? I've always thought Audi was a premium brand but lots of things seem to break down, considering its less than 4 years old with less than 80K mileage. Compared to my old Mazda 3 which only started giving me issued after 7-8 years into the cars lifespan.

Sour grapes o_OI don't see any snob appeal driving any European brand. I look at the driver and wonder why he's such an idiot.
And not just cars! When it comes to cars ANG MOHS are the worst and Japs are the best!
Sour grapes o_O
There's no sour grapes because I've learned my lesson the hard way in an era when I was dumb enough to buy a Beemer because I believed the marketing crap about it being "The Ultimate Driving Machine" when the reality was that it's far more likely to become an ultimate lemon.
I used to be one of those idiots. The difference is that I'm a fast learner whereas most Singaporeans expect a different outcome despite doing the same thing over and over again. Voting for the PAP is only one good example.
PAP is not your BMW or Toyota. It is like Proton Saga.
The PAP is exactly like a Beemer because both shower themselves with a bucketload of self proclaimed accolades which are far from reality.
On the other hand nobody has high expectations of a Proton Saga or a Great Wall. These are cheap and unsophisticated cars and everyone is aware that you get what you pay for.
By the way guys, let me share something.
Don't trust BYD or Telsa full-electric cars. The prolonged electromagnetic exposure from the huge batteries in these vehicles (and EMP swings when you ramp the engine), can technically increase heart attack risks.
Just sharing, I am not kidding.
