No. Halloween isn't part of any religion/race that's practiced and then brought by the families who have settled in Singapore, and passed on to the next generation. It is here because certain commercial communities hope to make money hosting it as an "event." At most it is a novelty. Families in Singapore can't be bothered to carve pumpkins and decorate their doorsteps with spooky symbols inviting gangs of kids, ghouls, and ghosts for trick and treat parties. Seven month hungry ghost festival is the cultural event here in Sg.
