I have a former colleague who stays in a 4-room HDB flat, but loves to drive used continental cars like Mercedes, BMW and Audi. He says nobody needs to know where he lives, but he is able to display his car wherever he drives to. He typically owns a car for 2-3 years i.e. he buys used cars that are around 7-8 years old.
The used car salesman says these customers are typically in their late 30s to early 60s, who may be hawkers, insurance/real estate agents, salesmen, loan sharks or small business owners.

The SAFRA Club is about as prestigious as the Satay Club which comprised of 3 open-air hawker centres in S'pore that are no longer operating. I used to be a SAFRA member until they stopped offering free membership. Since then, I have been relegated to ActiveSG club and steal aircon at NLB.
