Clocking at that high speed, cutting across two lanes to turn into that sharp bend of Marine Vista was certainly suicidal manoeuvre. No sensible driver would do it. No one is a hero except a dead hero and in this case, he did not even die as a hero but a fool.
Unlikely a seizure. Noticed how he cut across the lanes like a pro.

Mr Jamie Ho was, in short, a peer whom you would respect very much, Mr Yen Wong told The New Paper last night.
Mr Wong is a director in Mr Ho’s magazine publishing company and they had worked together since 2009.
Mr Ho was one of two people who died in an early morning accident yesterday. The white Volkswagen GTI that he was driving had hit a barrier before crashing into a large tree along the East Coast
Parkway at the Marine Vista exit.
A female passenger, who was seated in front, also died on the spot.
Four other passengers — three women aged 24, 26 and 29, and a 25-year-old man — were taken to hospital.

Braking hard at that high speed would render the car uncontrollable and to skid as it rounded the bend. Only a seow driver would drive at such high speed and then brake hard. You could see from video that the tail light came on before it entered the slip road. Sure die.
