WP is just another PAP. Why do we want another PAP?

The alternative is no government. But Singaporeans are not ready for that, they need a father-figure type leadership for guidance to tell them what to do, or they'd be lost.

Bullocks. We need Opposition to subject the Government of the Day to scrutiny. I welcome the day when the PAP can sit in Parliament as Opposition MPs like in the early 50s when there were only 4 of them.

How can PAP sit in Parliament when they all are dangling at ends of piano wires and dancing away under lamp posts?
1. WP is not ready to form a government which is clear but can stand in as transition government until a suitable government can be form.
2. Probably another party will form coalition with WP to form a new government.
3. Until then unhappy PAP cronies will cause civil unrest and riots and go underground. Look at what happen to Egypt and other countries hat changed government.
4. Willl take another 20-30 years, 2 generations to stabilize the country, if any.
