Why i say they are probably unarmed AETOs is because of the Yellow Vest.
The unarmed AETOS patrollers wear yellow vests in their patrol during weekends.
I always see them there. They have their briefings at Rowell road area somewhere around there and then deployed all over Little India on weekends.

yes...they wear the standard uniform...but AETOS in Little India doing patrol wears Yellow vest and I never see them armed. Their basic duty is to shoo these workers on weekend from Hdb estates...that's thir role and not to handle riots.

so lets be fair here. they were trying to protect the paramdics and scdf..but never expected such mobsters to attack...

fully agree...what is the use of a service revolver when 400 mobsters are out of control and had just overturn and burn 2 police cars...it would be mad if they had open fire ( i am assuming they had guns..but i beg to differ cos they look to me like the basic unarmed aetos patrol with yellow vest ).

Very difficult to see actual policeman in action nowadays.
All I see is sign boards littered all over the place telling me that "Theft has been committed here on xx/xx/xxxx".....I am not too sure what is that supposed to mean. They trying to outsource back the crime fighting element back to us citizens or what.

All I know is that they hid in the ambulance like cowards, and the embarrassing scene is caught on video. That's entertaining.

And the next time some spin doctor or CrimeWatch praises the poodles for 'bravery' or 'heroism'... we know better.
