No. It is not rubbish bullshit. It is science. Eons ago, its ancestors were sundials. Over time, it evolved to what it is now. Couple of missing links in-between.

It's easy. Pour a few cans of Campbell soup into a pot then throw in the mechanical parts and boil them for a billion years and you will get the watch.

that is different subject matter, would be "the origin of life" rather than "the origin of species".
scientists have been attempting to re-create "life" from inorganic materials for as far as we can remember, but haven't been able to replicate the exact conditions to concoct "life" at this point in time.

Or babies can be born with deformities?
