Wow... sad tale indeed. Those who bite the hand that feeds them will probably run into karma one of these days. Cheer up wuqi, don't be sadden by a biatch like her!!

Today was a very disappointing day for us, my wife came home with her eyes red and only after much asking did she share with me this. She was afraid i would give her a scolding as i have told her to be careful from day one.

Seems that the principal who has just left the school has been bad mouthing us all this time while still taking pay from us. The principal initially left on good terms with us and we even countered offer and increase her pay with shares thrown in. Other staff alleged that the principal took things from our school and was on very bad terms with a lot of teachers but we kept her throughout even though we found she did take some things home. We closed one eye as she also did bring her own things to the school though we told her no need and even provided all that was required.

All this while, we gave her many chances and even when some staff left because of her, my wife still believed in her. Only today we knew the extent of how much she was bad mouthing us, telling everyone and other branches she only got very little pay, no welfare etc when she was well drawing over 3.2k.

Now she is bad mouthing our curriculum, teachers and even to the extent of trying to bring the teachers and kids over to her new school. When she just joined us and claimed she lost her wallet, we paid for her IC, when she claimed her car door was smashed in, we paid for the door repair, etc. The niece that she brought into our school to work kept taking MC and now doesn't even show up. The niece also asked several parents to withdraw. Luckily we hire more teachers than required as part of my policy to ensure that we keep to the quality.

We even offered to give her more pay etc but she claimed she was going into Singapore to work and she even swore she would not start or work in a competitor firm. We said no need to swear as she should be able to work without fear. We even wished her well. My wife even cried when she left. Its just a sad case of misplaced trust, she does work hard to be fair but i really felt bad to my wife.

The principal even cursed we would close down within 6 months after her departure and even her close friend, our current principal she bad mouthed to us and to many others saying that she is incompetent. She kept trying to bring our staff over but the staff, seeing how she is treating us after how we have treated her, refused to leave. She even told the parents and staff who informed us about this that there is no evidence, etc and we cannot do anything.

Unfortunately some parents believe what she said and left but what to do, just pick up the pieces and carry on as best as we can.
Parents paid money, the show must go on, we need to continue to do our best for them.

For myself, i am sad to have been proven right, my wife was just relieved i did not chide her as i felt she had suffered enough and all her buying of lunch, enduring things for the principal was proved to be for naught.

She had originally chided me not to be too trusting when i thought i found myself a true friend here and its unfortunate that she has to go through what i felt back then.

Hope the new company she works in will not suffer as we did, one who can betray her ex employer easily can just as easily turn around and do it to the new one as new will become old one day.

Do look out your 太太safety and yr sch closely as well...

Agree, well said and well put. Not to worry about the security, i already took precautions as soon as i found the person behaving strangely. We already know what needs to be known, just that i always like to give people an escape route unless they really force my hand.

Thanks, one should never aim to hurt others yet one should also protect oneself and ferociously if need be. I have not lost faith in people, i have ex bosses, neighbours who i would gladly go to war with and i keep seeing the good in people. If i really gave up on people, that staff would have been gone ages ago.

I think is a good thing the ex-principal resigned. The bad mouthing is just a side effect. Ignore it. People dont go to her new school because she is better. Parents still stick with brands and track record. It would have been harder to sack someone like that who is distruptive to the team environment, and worse, to be dragged by such person to court for wrongful dismissal. You may lose some students but the ones worth keeping are those who believe in you and your wife. Look at the bright side. Tomorrow is a better day without such negativity.

Good sir, I emphatise with both u n your lady. Need to be more cautious esp now that M'sian government giving more incentives to local entrepreneurs to set up more creches n nursery schools nationwide . With that lady Wuqi will be facing more competition. Tis ok but some are unscrupulous n will bad-mouth n backstab others for their personal business reputation n sucess. They will also entice your good staff. Sharing with u from personal similar experiences. Education biz comes with lots of headaches n heartaches as it deals with mainly human-socio relationships : teachers, workers,parents n the students themselves.
Just be patient, live your own family life happily(which is what matters most of all) n charge on !

Thank you, its really difficult being a good person/a husband/a son/a father on top of working for others and helping wife with business. Sometimes i help others with their deals so much that i miss out on mine but i guess its life. I will do one thing at a time just tired, luckily the air here helps at least. Not going to be a mailman for this week as too many things to do.
