Bro, chestnuts and sea cucumber are said to have medicinal values.

no need to be confused, let the roadrunner teach you, this kind of braised/stewed dishes always tastes better the next day, so resist the tempation to eat it & let it cool down & chill it, you can then scoop up the fats & heat it up the next day. but you are right, the fat is what makes it tasty.
