Just tis morning I was telling my wife about this National Conversation. The govt wanted this dialogue because they dont know how to solve all these "problems". Babies, FTs, Integration, etc. Pay them so high salary, still need the citizens to give them ideas. Pui!!

These topics should have been discussed during elections. The PAP is again showing its arrogant ways. Why did the PAP not announce their plans for over a million FT during past elections and now choose the wrong avenue to try and placate Singaporeans. Every smart person knows that there are always more than one way to solve a problem. Increasing FTs at such a high rate over such a short time is not the way to fight decreasing or low birthrate. It is foolish and leads to a great strain on public services in the short term while in the long term social issues and lack of national bond will arise. Housing prices will rise steadily to the point where they are priced out of most middle-income Singaporeans.
