Cheers Workers Party ! And to Poh Lee Guan ,enjoy your holiday :)

Too entrenched, enriched by PAPzi policies. With a doctorate you would think that he would be more elaborate with his 'attacks' against the WP. :oIo:

Dont like the young turks, in particular giam. Gives me bad vibes. Happy to be wrong.

Giam is the least of my worries, their defacto 'ring leader' is the one i am watching closely. Shall reveal the ID in due course when the ringleader is getting too prominent

Honestly what was he thinking of?

If he wanted out he could have just quietly resigned and penned some FB notes on how he helped LTK & Sylvia over the years.

I too have no idea why create all this drama? Maybe he was instigated by CK.

I know what you're talking about, but am hoping the smartie pants will burn themselves to the ground thru sheer arrogance. Much like what has happened to GMS, for instance.

The Gambling Squad when they receive a new member, would have their address without their knowledge given to the syndicates. The syndicates would then place wads of cash in the guy's HDB letter box. Then the corrupt members of the squad will wait if this chap reports it. If no report, then business as usual.

Dr Poh must have waited but nothing was in the letterbox or his local or foreign bank accounts and decided there are no well wishers. So he held a press conference near the nomination centre. How to explain as nothing else makes sense. Don't be surprised if he join Seow Khee Leng who us an expert in this field having worked for 2 govts.

Its is a given such things will also occur in all political parties. That is why it is political party. Unless you are coerced by a friend or colleague to join a political party, you become a political animal. Most members join because they are following their friends or relatives or a fan of the leader or leaders. These members are not political by nature and are harmless. But they can led by the nose.

In political parties it is common practice for leaders to create factions with followers and allies to maintain at least numerical superiority. In fact if you can't handle this you are not fit to lead.

LTK is a master at this. In fact I always thought that he was very shrewd in the internal politics than external politics. He has now proven to be good at both. Not to mention that JW persuaded me of his external shrewdness.

To take a leaf from local history, the dickheads in the Chiam led SDP did not know which side of their bread was buttered and so Ling and the WP renegade faction persuaded the naive and young Chee to be the leader to the utter regret of all. They forgot who had the Viagra.

The party thanks...
OR
The party thank...

Answer
: As party is a collective noun, it is usually taken as plural and not singular noun.

So, it should be "The party thank..."

If they had dsicicpline in the first place, you wouldn't have Yaw, Poh and all that fiasco in parliament by their MPs.

I hope you have the discipline. There is temptation everywhere.

It depends on whether the party as a group or as a collection of individuals.

You yourself don't have discipline and now you are pointing finger to others ?? HAHAHAHA !
