I wonder why the National Parks Board wants to 'act smart' and come up with their own maps, instead of using the same locality maps used by SMRT?

It's should be more efficient and cost effective, and the SMRT maps are definitely of a higher quality.

Yes, Harvey Ave is just few mins walk from Cameron Hotel.. last went there 4 years ago on a Sunday.. Saw few Bangla and Pinoy couple comin out..

They have lots of money to give to their contractors. Every tree chopped is about $200. Its to the interest of the contractors to chop down as many trees for all kinds of reason even if the trees are perfectly healthy. Instant trees are planted, all with weak roots, one sumatra storm alone can uproot a few hundred of them. At least they are planting trees and maintaining gardens for our comfort. My army 'dazed' friends use that hotel for 'live firing', and Harvey Avenue was one of the area , we go for 'camping'...during 'army dazed'.
