Relatively speaking, these protestors pay are higher than Singaporeans workers. How come Singapore street so quiet? Because our Labour Union belongs to one of the trinity called "tripartism" aka the Father, Son and Holy Gohs.

Zorro has a new acronymn for Singaporean workers this time, the new buzzwords "CBD" is to tell worker to live in their CHEE BYE DREAM. Nothing is going to improve for the workers anyway. Today show is just a stage to wish the Father's son Bon Voyage for his super long holiday.:oIo:

The streets of Singapore are quiet because Singaporeans are a happy and contented lot. There are a few losers who rant and rave because they can't get something for nothing but their hot air is pretty much confined to on line forums and face book pages which they surf using their iPhones, iPads and Galaxy Notes.

When they've finished their on-line rants, they sms their friends to meet at Starbucks for coffee.

streets in u.s. cities except sf and oakland are quiet as may 1 is just another work day, not labor day. sf and oakland are full of homeless, hippies and losers from the occupy movement, so their street protests are anticipated to be another boring episode. *yawn*

Interesting. May Day originated in the USA after an industrial action so why is it not a public holiday in the US today?

labor day in the u.s. is always the 1st monday in september. this year, it falls on the 3rd of september. memorial day is always celebrated on the last monday of may. this year, it falls on the 28th of may. there's no may day holiday. cinco de mayo which is celebrated by mexicans falls on the 5th of may.
