I got email from SBF showing same IP address

Quite likely using the same proxy.

I didn't do anything for you specifically. All I did was reset all the "strikes" counters so that all members affected had their access restored.

but i only managed to log in after i send a email to you , which is today late evening . this problem happen from last night . if you did reset all the strikes counter why i still cant log in this afternoon ? strange .

Probably a browser caching problem. I fixed it more than 24 hours ago. See the earlier posts in this thread.

because i had ' used up my quota of passwords '. Cant really say if i was the only one affected. Was ok the next day. What gives eh?

If the "5 strikes" vbulletin security feature is enabled, you can disable the account of any member. All you have to do is enter the nick you want to sabotage and put anything you want as the password. Do that 5 times and the account is locked for 15 minutes.

It's a security measure to prevent dictionary attacks.

If I disable it, accounts can no longer be sabotaged in this manner but if you have used a very simple password like abcde or 12345, chances of your account being compromised are much higher.
