not yet ..now still looking for good location ...but nowaday singapore rental very high ..knn . outside lucky plaza one of the small shop selling fruit juices along the pavement is 16k per month ..thats crazy .

A friend told me before closing shop everyday he need to do his accounts as the Capital Holdings the owner takes a cut from his sales. If he does not perform well, the following year they will not let him operate and let another business take over his space.

Capital Holding takes a cut from your friend sales ? that too much !!! is there a law to stop those landlord and GLC ? last time i heard that food courts owner also take certain percentage of the daily sales from the stall they rent out . its like working for them free plus have to pay rent ....why nobody said anything ?

That is why it is hard to do business in Singapore as you work hard just to cover the high rentals. The rest is your profits, and even if you make a loss that is your problem, not theirs. It is an accepted practice as far as I know. The landlords call the shots.

if got extra money ..should buy a few shops in singapore ..knn . everyday shake leg and collect rental . one of my friend who open one stall in a coffeeshop at lucky plaza tell me ..his rental 14years ago was $3500 now increase until 13k amonth .
