Specific phone number keeps calling my house phone​

General

ive been receiving calls from a handphone number (telco SingTel) non stop for the past month from a specific phone number. every time the person calls, they don't speak. i am able to see the phone number because it shows up on my house phone. im really confused and at a loss of what to do.

i've called back to this number with them picking up, multiple times. i only do this when they start their call frenzy. when they pick up, they will say hello hello and i just dont respond. they will stay on the line for a minute or so.

P.S. please understand that i'm not doing this because i want to harass the person back. i'm doing it so it "blocks" the person from calling me back because my house phone does not support blocking of numbers.

the reason why i dont speak is because im not sure if this is one of those scam calls where they record your voice and use AI to use my voice for scams.

i've added this number on my phone just so i can see their whatsapp DP, and it is of an indian guy.

can someone advise me on what to do? should i report it to SPF, will they be able to help? has anyone had the same experience? :(
