That's because the business owner's identity is wholly derived from his business. This is different from an employee who exchanges time for money, an arrangement of convenience.
An analogy would be raising your own children vs raising someone else's children.
If they dont like it they can choose another job with better terms.The worst is last minute impromptu OT, and then even burning public holidays.
Yeah. It is tough. But it is an experience. And our kids work and they are earning some money and gaining experience working. Better than playing games at home and going shopping spending money.
Hopefully when covid is over our business can improve.
