Amoy Street Food Centre's tray return station overflows, nearby tables and seats seen inundated with used plates and utensils​

Cleaning auntie was almost near breaking point, constantly screaming at patrons to dump their shit just about anywhere and get lost. For every tray she cleared from the station, another three or four arrived the next moment. Hurrah for PAP's epically disastrous tray return legislation.

in the past, onus used to be on the diner looking for a table or seat to chope, as most tables are cluttered with stray trays, dirty plates, bowls, and filth. this was because cleaners couldn’t keep up with diners leaving their shit behind. now onus is on the cleaners at the tray stations as diners return trays at stations for fear of fines and push their shit to the stations, relieving on one hand cleaners having to remove piles of shit on tables but at the same time compounding waves of tsunami shit at the tray return stations. the peak hour problem has always been there. it’s just that it’s shifted from one section of the shit flow to another. it’s a peak hour problem, just like diners were having issues finding a cleared or clean table before the tray return policy. simple solution: address peak times with boost of temporary or part time cleaning staff during these spikes by offering better incentives or pay. $69 per hour for 2 hours during meal times will do the trick. that’s equivalent to atb, vietbu, siambu, and jiuhubu whores doing hj and bj 6.9 times a day which is small change to them.

The problem lies in the sales volume of stalls....

Nice food stall sell more dishes and of course more finished-plates volume jammed the tables.... who is going to clear his shit plates... start charge stalls differently in volume sales in clear plate cost....

Not nice food stall sells less volume and less finished-plates to clear.... why shd he pay blanket cost sharing to clear plates... with the better sales volume stalls....

Higher Stall sales volume had colour coded plates to keep track of volume and pay more clear cost price....

Start using square plate better management of clearing leftovers... sharp corner easier to clear leftovers... and easier to stack... neatly.... square has more area than round... given same length x breath measurement square get more area...


Create stand-up-eat table for less portion meal per serve that take little or less time to swallow eat per serve...drink buyer drink at standup table or go to bus top to drink or under tree...

Cheap $2.50 nasi lemak stall has higher sales volume but food portion less per meal quick consume time and no left over. Stand up has faster turnover per space and add more people per space.... stand up eat and fuck off faster... u bastard cheapsake eater...

Use paper plate overbplastic plate for safe handling for the stand up eater. After-meal he throw paper plate and plastic spoon save time clearing....
