i think we might be having berbatov in the ranks soon enough. seems like a deal has been agreed with hotspurs and berbatov not expressing any desire to stay at white hart lane seems like a good piece of news. imagine berbatov and rooney up front. going to be lethal for man utd. anyway, imo, i do not believe nani can replace ronaldo. not now, not in the future. he'll prolly get as close as he can to trying to replace giggs on the left but he's never going to make it. yes, nani is fast has got the grooves but he lacks creativity, always going for the shot instead of the through pass. damn!

Ronaldo has his own skill and talent. Nani is Ronaldo wannabe. If Nani is not so kancheong, he will improve. Actually, Man U needs a striker like Ruud or Berba. These strikers got height and good finisher. The partnership of Rooney and Tevez is not lethal cos both are short and with similar abilities. The goal ratio of these two strikers is still lower than the "Winker".
berbatov is tall striker and tall strikers are useful in situations like corner kick and free kick. their height allow them to power headers. man utd shd get a couple of tall strikers as well as agile and strong strikers. tevez and rooney though not very tall, they have the strength and power...
nani is still young i believe with the right guidance he can be as gd as giggs. creativity is inborn. it cannot be cultivated..

The Dimitar Berbatov transfer saga is nearing completion with Manchester United ready to pounce for the Bulgarian.
According to English newspaper, the Daily Express, United and Tottenham Hotspur are currently haggling over the US$6 million required to allow Berbatov to complete his dream move to Old Trafford.
Sir Alex Ferguson's outfit have increased their bid to US$50 million while their counterparts have now agreed to lower their asking price to US$56 million, a considerable drop from their initial US$70 demands.
Ferguson though, will be hoping that he can welcome Berbatov into his squad in time for his side's Premier League curtain raiser against Newcastle United this weekend.
