Fellow REDS fanatics.... Are we finally seeing the hallmark of a champion here? Liverpool crawled back from the dead to register a 2-1 victory at Anfield against Boro!! and we did it in front of the Kop!!

What a poor game Liverpool had today by their standards... until things start to come alive in the last 15 mins... Heroes for the day? Local lads.... Carra and Stevie G. Think we need to archive this match video up and use it to serve as teaching materials for all future Reds players... The spirit of scousers (Red half...) and what it meant to be playing in the shirt with the liverbird plastered across your heart! and well, Alonso is not going to go anywhere either (as far as I'm concerned)... yes, he din really played well today but at least he has got that vision and floated in a cross which eventually led to Stevie G scoring a good curler goal. Cool...

I'm not gonna get carried away but I certainly hope that the Reds will ride on this wave and take it into their every game (minus of cos the need of having to come from behind and not taking their chances when it came their way early in the game) and start playing like our 19th league title depended on it. C'mon you REDS!!

another scarppy win.
Middlesbrough went all out to attack instead of defending like all teams, when they are at Anfield.
previous it was Torres, yesterday it was Jamie Carragher and Steven G. to our rescure.

Agreed wif Bro himerus tat Liverpool have a scrappy game. But most important is the 3 pts if we are going to mount a serious bid for the title. Somemore the Gunners lose to Fulham last nite which I am very happy.

bro terror03,
so nice to see here also.

yap, yesterday match was another scrappy and lousy match.
Keane still need a few more match to click with Torres and he should keep his temper in check, else will get into trouble.
Jamie and Gerrard to the rescue, wonder who will come up next to rescue us again in our next match.

never mind about the performance,so long as we can get the 3 points for every match, that will be enough.

Liverpool will have Javier Mascherano back frm Olympic duty in a few days time & Liverpool have miss his work rate & defensive work for the 1st few games.
Hopefully next epl game Liverpool will have their strongest lineup for the game. Can't wait.

It was reported matchmaker Benitez - known for rotating his team too often in a league that demands consistency - looks determend to make this marriage work.
There are sign of improvement,
Last night's game - where he didn't replace them - provided the first evidence of why Liverpool fans should give Torres and keane more time.
In the 36th min, a clearance from defence saw Torres jumping to hear the ball sideways to Keane. He turned around and raced towards the penalty box, expecting the one-two, Keane, knowing it instantly, flicked the ball first time nicely into Torres path.
It was the perfect set-up for a shot at goal- folling the entire Middlebrough central defence but their right-back David Wheather came in to cover and intercept the ball in time.
Two minutes later, Keane got the ball deep, turned round his marker Huth, and raced past to drag the Boro defence towards him, before cleaverly flicking the ball right and across to Torres.
Torres was nicely placed for a shot straight at goal, but he sidefooted it wide.
It hinted at potential, showing that perhaps, Torres and Keane can explore how to attack defences by working together from a deeper position.
In the 64 mins, they almost did it again with Torres coming close with a 25 metre shot.
With the speed of Torres, and the brains of Keane, more moves like the few seen last night, should eventually pay off for Liverpool up front.
And if Gerrard and the rest behind them, keep their spirits up like they did last night, the fireworks should come soon, earlier in a game.

we should have no problem qualifying for the CL.
hope to see a better performance by the Reds against Standard Liege at least by couple of goals.

Go Reds Go !!!

Standard Liege is a tought nut to crack.
they are playing pretty well,0-0 at half-time.

full-time 0-0,now going to extra-time,we will have to really buck up and play better. not a very good performance again.

yes,phew,very close.
we are playing on borrow time.
another lousy performance, just cun break through.
look like we are going to have a quite serious problem - scoring goal, this season.

it will be disastrous,if we are out,not to say the cash that will be lose but also will be the laughing stock here.

but we managed to pull through again, thanks to Kuyt.
he scored in the 118 minutes of extra time.
