The kid should have thought about the consequences before he go out to steal.

Besides, this beating is nothing compared to what happens across the border in J.B. A big crowd surrounds the robber, and after the first 10 or 20 blows on the head, the robber cannot even cry out loud. He is 1/2 way to heaven(or hell) already.

The China crowd pictured is not even trying to do serious injury to the boy. That is why his head is not bleeding.

True, heard a friend who worked in Beijing said there is a possibility that the boy might be dead,beaten to death.It is very common in China to take law into their own hand. China is indeed a scary place.

Even if this kid stole something, he need not be treated this way. This is street justice, or injustice.

I've personally witnessed a group of people wacking a robber / thief, and there were at least 30 to 40 people crowding around the robber / thief, each giving their piece of mind to the robber / thief.

do you know why? because the police do not give a hoot of what is going on. it's up to the street justice, and this is truly justified, because a lot of people were robbed, and have their personal belongings stolen...

it sends a very good message to the robbers/thieves or would be robbers/thieves to try their stunt in that area, for the group of vigilantes are there to exercise their rights, and have instant punishment!

It is a brutal world except silly humans try to blind themselves and enjoy their very temporary moments of escapes from reality. Humanity is nothing but a glorified form of STUPIDITY. The actual world is far far beyond and too huge to be tailor to suit human stupidity or humanity if they like to call it.

There is really no kindness nor evil, no right nor wrong in this universe. Except stupid human applied their own silly little arbitrary and self-conflicting meanings to BLIND THEMSELVES from reality. But human conciliation is minute and temporary in existence in universe. It is very negligible and insignificant in this world.

However the human sadly covered their eyes to try to deceive only themselves that their so call civilisation is EVERYTHING & SUPREME. Entire planet earth is destroyed by human stupidity like this. But even if the entire solar system got destroyed and vanished, it is no significance in the big cold brutal universe, where existence or total destruction of human will make absolutely no difference.

It is up to each individual to choose to fool themselves with silly values.

Especially Ang Moh's rubbish humanity craps - just a foul lump of self-deceiving farts.

You might see this happening in PRC, Afghan, Philippines, African countres...... these are not civilsed countries. You will not see this happening in UK, Japan, Singapore, Canada and some others.

It is not an adult moron in this case caught red-handed. It is a child. Not yet even reached puberty. And to be treated this way by adults! They can simply hand him over to the cops.

I agree it is not easy for Singaporeans to stomach this kind of scene. Singaporeans should be grateful for this not happening in Peesai. No child has to steal, and even if caught, will not be kicked around like a stray dog. The police will take care of the case by contacting his parents first.

Western civilisation, democracy, respect for the individual, although not perfect have built and shaped the world since the early Greeks and have become major instituitions today with cross-border NGOs helping crisis areas. Humanity has grown (alongside Capiltalism).

I do not think humans have blinded ourselves. Some choose to do something about it -by lifting themselves and others above their primal instincts. Others just choose to hantam small boy.

The syndicates used young children to conduct crimes which avoided the LAW's minimum age of punishment.

The torture works, because it is a live display, conducted in front of the criminals and those used by the criminals.

The police deliberately allowed it.

Civilian clothed police were probably the ones torturing the boy.

The leadership ordered it to be done.

Humanity weakness is abused by criminals and brutal message is delivered to them effectively. The more primitively the better is the effects.

Too much so called Humanity is already legislated in to Chinese Laws, that the law become a useless tool to fight crimes. The central govt leadership is also stuffed with too many who received western educations, whose brains are filled up with western shits and can never be properly cleaned. When that failed, the lower leaders who face with shrewed criminals on the streets have to use their own ways. Ways that works.

I am glad this is done.

The Chinese must stand up against western so called PRESSURE.

The best effective way to deal with the west is to DISRESPECT their values, expose their HYPOCRISY, look down on them, and ignore their concerns and comments.

Asians should not be blindly led by the west starting from moral and spiritual and values. The western ways are IRONICAL, just laugh them off, show them how we insist on our own. Show them that we are not them and would NOT become them. They can not change us. We are not interested in them. That have to get across crystal clear and without doubts.
