In a Facebook post, Mrs Lina Chiam has taken issue with the Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) for including a picture of her husband, Mr Chiam See Tong, and Dr Chee Soon Juan in SDP’s publication.
She further said that both husband and wife have not given their endorsements to any candidate in the coming by-election in Bukit Batok.
The following is Mrs Chiam’s message in full.

“My fellow citizens, Mr. Chiam and I understand that the Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) has been circulating an image of Mr. Chiam See Tong and Dr. Chee Soon Juan in SDP’s newsletter, The New Democrat.
We would like to clarify that Dr. Chee did not seek nor receive permission to include Mr. Chiam’s image in this newsletter. Mr. Chiam has not given his endorsement to any candidate for the upcoming Bukit Batok by-election.

Ah Chee tried unsuccessfully to pull a suppresio veri, suggestio falsi, suppress key facts, and suggest something which is untrue. SDP published on its newsletter to Bukit Batok residents an old photo to fake the impression that Mr Chiam has patched up and endorse him. Mr & Mrs Chiam found out and put out the statement that it is not true.
20+ years ago, Character Is Permanent Chee ousted Mr Chiam from SDP, he first tried unsuccessfully to illegally expel Mr Chiam, later Mr Chiam was forced to resign.

In one particular outrageous made up story, Ah Chee claimed a residents was so excited he introduced Ah Chee to all 12 floors of residents, only to later edit the post to say the residents is pleasantly surprised to see him. I guess u tink the 25k BB residents visit SB daily. U shld go to BB and spread ur info there. Here, u will only rec positive news on Chee, many like to see a change for the better for Sinkiepore.

CSJ is a failure in life.
Regardless......."even if" this is true...........but when a servant may turn against his/her master when they feel they have enough support........this is the mechanism that voters has to manage to achieve a transparent and independent system.
