For someone from such a priviledged background, Laurence Lien shows a lot of empathy for the ordinary Singaporean citizen.

Unless others who came from humble backgrounds, and made it rich.

Laurence Lien is not as dumb as Roy. He chose his words far more carefully.

Laurence Lien himself is a victim of PAP.
PAP force local banks to merge and his father had no choice but to sell the bank to UOB instead of selling it to PAP Pariah DBS.

shameless Lee Hsien Loong is our defamation PM. He broke the promise to return cpf to us for age above 55 and yet he has the cheek to file defamation case.

Dear Singaporeans

Shameful Lee Hsien Loong and his wife and father get millions of salary from Singapore tax payers and our GST. however, he still has the cheek to say that Singapore government can learn from other countries.

Why he and his family has no idea and knowledge to lead this countries but stay there to receive millions of salary and yet wanting Singapore government to learn from other countries?

SINGAPORE - Improving Singapore is a "journey without end", and the island-state can learn from other cities as new challenges emerge, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Sunday evening.

He was speaking at the opening of the World Cities Summit, Singapore International Water Week and CleanEnviro Summit at Marina Bay Sands.

"People's expectations are rising," he said. "Other cities continue to move ahead, developing innovative solutions and setting new standards."

In the past two years alone, PM Lee pointed out, more than 100 million people - or 20 times the population of Singapore - have moved to cities, and 70 per cent of the world's population is expected to live in cities by 2050.

[Update FIVE 03062014] Fund Raising For Roy Ngerng’s Court Case Against Lee Hsien Loong

As promised, I will continue to update on the funds that are coming in. We have reached our target of $70,000 for the legal fees for the court case. You can read more about what the court case is about and the fund raising appeal here.

I would like to thank everyone for your continued support. We are now awaiting the pre-trial on 4 July 2014, before the court case is decided. Meanwhile, we are working towards the 7 June event this Saturday, #ReturnOurCPF. Do join us at the event as we discuss about the CPF.

Once again, I am grateful to Singaporeans for your encouragement. I will continue to speak up on our CPF and advocate for transparency and accountability on the use of our CPF.

We are $11,000 in excess at this point. The funds will be set aside for any further unexpected legal fees and the damages. We have currently stopped soliciting for funds but if the funds continue coming in, I will be open and transparent with them and publish them, so as to be accountable.

Please see below for further information on the funds coming in so far, as of 5.00pm today.

Funds Raised So Far

We have raised $81,000.80 so far.
